In this position you will be responsible for steering the boat up and down the river; keeping watch for safety of crew, equipment and environment, while positioning barges together into tows. You will be required to live within an hour radius for consideration, due to schedule./ppstrongWhat youll be doing:/strong/pulliKeeping the crew safe/liliMoving tow/build tow/liliEnsuring safe navigation and operation of vessel/liliEfficiently managing the crew and the vessel/liliResponsible for the safety of the equipment/liliResponsible for the safety and preservation of the environment/liliSteering tow up and down river/liliMaking locks and bridges/liliConducting safety meetings and drills/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pstrongKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:/strong/pulliDemonstration of the Ingram Way/liliAbility to uphold Ingrams high safety standards/lili8+ years of experience/liliMMC; Advanced education and training (SCI, CEMS, Etc.)
