Work Environment\n This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility that meets both patient and clinician needs. Our work culture emphasizes collaboration and ongoing professional development, with regular case consultations and team meetings conducted via virtual platforms. You will utilize modern technology for teletherapy sessions and electronic health record (EHR) documentation, ensuring streamlined communication and efficient patient management. Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and tailor treatment plans accordingly. \n Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building, addressing the unique needs of each patient. \n Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). \n Coordinate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals within our integrated care framework to provide a holistic approach to treatment. \n Respond to crisis situations with immediate intervention strategies, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients during trauma-related emergencies. \n Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available support resources, fostering a deeper understanding and empowering them in their recovery journey. \n Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, contributing to holistic patient care. \n Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, enhancing the effectiveness of therapeutic techniques used. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Your primary focus will be on working with individuals who have experienced trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will play a crucial role in helping these clients process their experiences, gain coping strategies, and ultimately move toward healing. Qualifications\n \n A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program. \n Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York. \n A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and the various trauma-informed treatment modalities. \n Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems. \n Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client care. \n Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations. \n Preferred Experience\n While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we welcome applicants with a strong clinical background in trauma-focused therapies and interventions. Experience with diverse populations and a commitment to continuous professional growth are highly valued. Compensation and Benefits\n The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
