Manual Machinist Position

Job Description

• Proven experience as a machinist, preferably with 10 plus years of hands-on machining experience.
• Strong experience setting up and operating CNC machines and lathes in a production or machine shop environment.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and precise machining of parts.
• Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting on CNC machines, lathes, and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers and other inspection instruments to verify dimensions and maintain strict quality standards.
• Manage multiple machining tasks and work orders simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality and meeting production timelines.
• Track and document work orders accurately to ensure traceability and proper job completion.
• Train, guide, and help lead new CNC Machinists, sharing best practices and promoting a culture of safety and quality.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, shop rules, and operational procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

This is a Contract position based out of St. Marys, GA.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in St. Marys,GA.
