Position Overview: As an Internal Service Assistant, you are responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Service Department by facilitating the repair and reconditioning process for dealership inventory and internally owned vehicles. Working closely with service advisors, technicians, and sales teams, you help ensure vehicles move efficiently through the service process while maintaining accurate documentation and meeting departmental turnaround goals. Your contributions directly impact inventory readiness, operational efficiency, and overall dealership performance.

Responsibilities:

• Support the repair, maintenance, and reconditioning of dealership inventory and internal vehicles.
• Coordinate vehicle movement and workflow between the Service, Sales, and Used Vehicle departments.
• Track vehicle status and assist with prioritizing repairs to meet inventory readiness goals.
• Maintain accurate repair orders, service documentation, and vehicle records.
• Conduct vehicle walk-arounds and document cosmetic or mechanical concerns.
• Assist with parts procurement, administrative support, and departmental errands.
• Safely transport, stage, and park vehicles throughout dealership property.
• Ensure vehicles meet dealership standards for quality, appearance, and market readiness.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient service operation environment.
• Support team productivity by helping minimize turnaround times and enhancing operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service or dealership experience preferred
• Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
• Willing to submit and pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
