RN Unit Manager Onyx Care of Ruston is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our Unit Manager. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility, ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and support. Responsibilities Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants Meet with your assigned nursing staff, as well as support personnel, in planning the shift's services, programs, and activities Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of the shift as required Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel and other departments within the facility Qualifications Current Louisiana Nursing License (Required) Current CPR certification (Preferred) Benefits Competitive wage Affordable medical, dental, and vision benefits Free life insurance Paid vacation/sick time Personal days Employee referral bonus Tuition reimbursement Meaningful and rewarding work environment Plus much more, inquire with us today!
