Facilities Technician

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Facilities Technician . Position Type: Full time, Contract to Hire Duration: 12 months Location: Plano, TX 75074 (Onsite/1st shift 7AM-4:30PM) As a Facilities Technician you will: Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility's structure, equipment and grounds, including all trades (mechanical, plumbing, etc.). Performs trades work, such as carpentry or painting, in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures. Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, drawings, and specifications. Requires knowledge of applicable standards or regulations and may require specific trade certifications. The Ideal Candidate will have: High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. HVAC experience.
