Overview Kennedys, a Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked global firm serving insurers and the London market, is seeking dynamic and talented attorneys with 3-6 years of insurance defense litigation experience to join its New Jersey office. Responsibilities Propose litigation strategy Communicate with clients and opposing counsel Draft reports, pleadings, discovery, and motions Take and defend depositions Argue motions Participate in mediations and trials Conduct thorough research, writing and analysis, with substantiative familiarity with the rules and procedures of the New Jersey Courts Qualifications 3-6 years of relevant experience in insurance defense litigation Experience in premises liability, motor vehicle negligence (including UM/UIM), negligent security, professional liability and wrongful death claims Admitted and in good standing in New Jersey; additional admissions in other states a plus Benefits and Career Opportunities We offer significant business development training, dedicated associate and partner mentors, and a firm-wide associate committee to liaise with the partners.
