Northwell Health is seeking Transplant Hepatologists - Multiple Locations, NewYork (New York)

Overview

The Northwell Center for Liver Disease and Transplantation and the Division of Hepatology at Northwell Health are actively seeking full‑time Academic Transplant Hepatologists to join our expansive network in Nassau County, Suffolk County, Queens, and Westchester. These roles support clinical care of patients with liver disease and those requiring liver transplantation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat liver conditions, including pre‑ and post‑transplant care
• Assess eligibility for liver transplantation
• Educate medical students, residents, and GI and Transplant Hepatology fellows
• Participate in academic research and teaching activities as appropriate

Qualifications

• Board‑certified (BE/BC) in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology
• Proven expertise in general and transplant hepatology as well as upper endoscopy
• Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Eligibility for medical licensure in New York State
• Experience in academic research and/or teaching highly valued

Academic Level

Open to candidates at the assistant, associate, and professor levels, depending on qualifications and experience.
