Job Overview Location: UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Aurora, CO, USA. Department: Operating Room (OR). Position: Registered Nurse (RN). Work Schedule: Full Time, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Shift: Days. Pay Range: $38.91 - $60.31 per hour, dependent on experience. This role is onsite only; no hybrid or remote option. Responsibilities Provides top‑of‑scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. Values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence‑based practice. Models proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth. Welcomes new knowledge in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment. Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Perioperative direct care includes practice in Perioperative, PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit), or Operating Room levels of care. Adheres to AORN and ABPANC core curriculum and certification standards as part of evidence‑based care models. Participates in individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout clinical orientation, supported by Clinical Educators. Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program. Minimum 2 years OR experience. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification. On‑site BLS or CPR card must remain valid for the first 60 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications BSN degree.
