Position Summary

The Client Service Representative is the front line of our local office. You are the first voice customers hear and the first face walk-ins see. On a typical day you will handle 75-150 inbound calls, greet in-office customers, take payments, and route people to the right place (Sales agents, GEICO Service, or GEICO Claims). When you are not actively serving a customer, you will be on the phones working retention and win-back outreach to policyholders who recently cancelled or are in danger of cancelling. For the right person, this role is a direct path into a licensed Sales position.

• Customer Intake and Service
• Answer 75-150 inbound calls per day in a timely, professional, and friendly manner. Make a strong first impression for yourself and the office.
• Transfer customers to the correct destination: Sales agents, GEICO Service representatives, or GEICO Claims.
• Take clear messages for Sales agents and assure customers of a prompt callback.
• Return emails and voicemails as needed.
• Greet walk-in customers warmly and promptly. If you cannot help them directly, notify the next available agent right away.
• Take customer payments accurately when needed.
• Work the daily Pending Cancellation list: contact policies at risk, process overdue payments, and clearly advise customers on due dates and cancellation timelines.
• Work the daily Cancellation list: contact recently cancelled policies and transfer to GEICO Auto Service payment where appropriate.
• Work the win-back list: contact policies that cancelled more than 6 months ago with the goal of transferring them to a Sales agent.

Requirements

• Proven customer service experience, ideally phone-heavy.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite: Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong phone presence and the ability to stay warm and professional across a high call volume.
• Strong organization and accurate record-keeping.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of customer information per GEICO practices and Kentucky law.
• Must Be at least 18 Years old
• Must pass a background check
• Must speak English fluently
