Your Role As a Manufacturing Specialist, you will be engaged in essential tasks such as drum and tote preparation, filling, material handling, and sampling. This role also involves compounding and packaging duties that are vital to our production process. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain drums for filling, labeling, pressure testing, and handling residuals. Execute filling and packaging of drums and totes accurately. Conduct product sampling and partial counts effectively. Engage in tank compounding processes. Achieve forklift certification and handle materials as directed. Operate manufacturing tools and equipment safely. Document processed containers and maintain compliance with standard operating procedures, including logs and labeling. Utilize both manual and automated equipment for job functions. Communicate status and issues related to equipment operation to supervision promptly. Complete all necessary documentation accurately. Participate in Environmental Health and Safety and Quality departmental programs. Participate in ongoing training to achieve utility certification within 3 months and become fully certified in solvents preparation within 6 months of hire. Perform additional tasks as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or GED is required. 0-1 year of experience in chemical handling; preferred experience in high purity, chemical, pharmaceutical, or military environments. Experience with tractor truck driving is a plus. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word); SAP experience is advantageous. Forklift and tool operation experience is beneficial.Ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels. Demonstrated commitment to safety and positive work performance. Must possess a valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record. Willingness to work varied 12-hour shifts, including weekends and nights. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and comply with safety standards including respirator use. Willingness to perform outdoor tasks as required.
