Job Title: LEAD FACILITIES TECHNICIAN/CARPENTER

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for various construction tasks including cleanup, painting, inspection, and framing for buildings. You will also engage in custom build-outs and quality repairs on modular buildings and containers.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleanup, painting, and area inspection.
• Frame buildings and execute custom build-outs as directed.
• Conduct quality repairs, refurbishment, check-ins, and modifications of modular buildings and containers.
• Repair mobile office trailers, including tasks such as framing, finish carpentry, electrical work, flooring, plumbing, HVAC, and running gear.
• Build modular trailers, measure and cut baseboards, tear out carpet, clean and polish floors, and install doors.
• Work with AC units and ensure all repairs and installations meet quality standards.

Essential Skills

• General construction and maintenance experience.
• Must have experience in either general construction or electrical work.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a measuring tape accurately.
• Proficient in framing, carpentry, and general labor tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with painting and general construction tasks.
• Inquisitive and dedicated work ethic.
• Physical ability to handle demands such as walking, standing, bending, stretching, and lifting items up to 60 pounds.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic environment involving physical activities like walking, standing, and lifting. The role requires flexibility to work weekends and overtime, with a normal shift from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Be prepared for occasional extended hours from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, especially around peak times. Work involves repairing modular offices in covered areas to prepare them for field rental. The first day's reporting time is at 6 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fresno, CA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Fresno,CA.
