As a Security Officer Patrol Driver License Required in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor areas, exterior walkways, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or high-traffic areas to help to identify unusual behavior, assist with access-related concerns, and support a professional environment.
• Document observed activity, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
