Paralegal – Poliquin and DeGrvae, LLP Defense Firm handling a diverse mix of cases involving personal injuries, medical, dental and legal, malpractice.
We are a well‑established insurance defense law firm seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our growing team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast‑paced legal environment with supportive attorneys and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all phases of insurance defense litigation
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
- Review, analyze, and summarize medical records, deposition transcripts, and other case‑related records
- Manage and organize case files, discovery, and trial preparation materials
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Maintain deadlines and assist with calendaring and case management
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of paralegal experience preferred , preferably in insurance defense or civil litigation
- Strong legal writing, record‑review, and summarization skills
- Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Paralegal Certification
