This firm has clients that are some of the largest global corporations and ultra high net worth individuals. Some of these areas include but not limited to are: Property and Casualty, Re-Insurance, Life Insurance & Specialty Coverage. Currently the firm is looking for a Corporate Development Manager (Insurance M&A) candidate to work alongside the global head. Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 BASE + Bonus Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)Responsibilities: As an Insurance M&A manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping high-impact growth strategies and executing transformative deals across the global insurance industry. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role where you’ll be at the forefront of global M&A activity, strategic partnerships, and market expansion. Key areas of focus include:

• Strategic Targeting & Market Intelligence: Lead forward-looking research and analysis to identify high-potential acquisition targets, market entry points, and business line expansion opportunities across geographies.
• End-to-End Transaction Support: Partner with cross-functional deal teams to drive every phase of the transaction lifecycle—from diligence to close—with speed, precision, and strategic alignment.
• Deal Execution & Financial Leadership: Build and own complex financial models, valuations, and deal analytics to support investment theses and scenario planning.
• Executive-Ready Storytelling: Craft compelling, insight-rich presentation materials that inform and influence senior leadership and the Board of Directors on strategic initiatives and deal pipelines.
• Global Portfolio Scanning: Continuously refine and maintain global market screens and benchmarking tools to stay ahead of trends and surface new opportunities across key sectors and geographies.Requirements:
• BA/BS with a major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field – MBA is a plus not necessary
• Anywhere between 4 – 7 yrs of combined work experience in FIG Investment Banking, M&A Advisory and or Corporate Development, must have Insurance M&A experience from an IB or Corp Dev/Corp Strategy perspective
• Most ideal candidate is currently an Associate level two in a FIG group with a focus on Insurance Investment Banking, boutique, middle market or bulge bracket experience is highly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in excel and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal, communications, listening skills and business acumen
• Able to work on multiple projects at once,
• Experience in executing Insurance deals in recent years
• Strong Financial Modeling and Valuations experience
• Be a leader on the global Insurance M&A team
• Book of business, generating north of ~$3mn or so on a yearly basis
• Strong drive and worth ethic
• Relevant Investment Banking licenses held currently or in a previous role– Series 79, Series 63, Series 7
