Patient Care Technician

This position involves a temporary assignment covering a leave of absence. The shift will include an unpaid lunch break. The role includes Monday through Friday shifts, with rotating weekends and holidays. A High School Diploma or GED is required. Candidates must possess a valid BLS certification. Successful completion of an approved Patient Care Associate training program is required. Fluency in English, including the ability to read, write, and speak, is necessary. A minimum of one year of experience as a Nursing Attendant is essential. Candidates should be familiar with abnormal and normal vital sign parameters for adults and pediatrics. Experience in acute care settings, ambulatory surgery centers, and emergency department environments is preferred. The candidate must have skills in patient transport, obtaining vital signs, and performing CPR. Familiarity with electronic charting systems, specifically Epic, is preferred. All candidates must complete work history verification and education verification. Laboratory tests must be completed within the specified timeframe after signing. Modules related to the position must be completed prior to starting.
