A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled pharmacist with experience in retail and patient-facing pharmacy settings. This position requires an active New Jersey Pharmacist License and certification as an immunizer. The role focuses on providing excellent pharmaceutical care within a community-based pharmacy, ensuring safe and efficient medication dispensing and patient counseling.
Location:
- Galloway, NJ (with proximity to Mays Landing area)
Schedule:
- Sunday: Every Sunday or every other Sunday
- Monday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Tuesday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and safety
- Administer vaccines and immunizations in accordance with certification and regulations
- Support the daily pharmacy operations, including inventory management and workflow efficiency
- Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring compliance with operational standards
- Maintain adherence to all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active New Jersey Pharmacist License in good standing
- Certified Immunizer—required for vaccination administration
- Experience working in a retail, patient-facing pharmacy environment
- Comfortable managing evening and weekend shifts
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lead and support pharmacy staff effectively
