What You'll Do

Provide expert neonatal nursing care utilizing the nursing process
Assess patient and family needs and implement appropriate teaching strategies
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Delegate and coordinate nursing care to licensed and ancillary team members
Monitor, evaluate, and document neonatal progress and responses
Stay knowledgeable of current federal, state, and local laws applicable to neonatal nursing
Maintain compliance with all accreditation, safety, and privacy standards

What You Need

Required:

Current Louisiana RN License
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
2+ years of NICU or neonatal nursing experience

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
Certification in a clinical specialty area
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
