Registered Nurse (RN) – Neurosurgery Unit Department: Neurosurgery. Status: Part time. Hours per week: 0. Hours eligible for benefits: No. Pay Range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour. Schedule details: Varies. Where You Will Work The Neurosurgery unit is a 23-bed Progressive Care Unit specialized in neurological care, recognized as a Primary Stroke Center and holding Advanced Spine Care Certification. It treats stroke patients, elective spine surgeries, seizure disorders, and other neurological conditions including Myasthenia Gravis, Multiple Sclerosis, ALS, Huntington’s Disease, and dementia. Our team delivers evidence-based, patient‑centered care with advanced monitoring technologies. Preferred Qualifications (Optional) ACLS Telemetry experience Critical drips such as Cardizem, Cardene, Amiodarone, Heparin, Insulin NIHSS Neuro patient care experience We’re Looking For Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the RN practices Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association What You’ll Do Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
