Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with strong general, orthopedic (total joints), vascular, and gyn experience for a 13-week hospital OR assignment.

Details

• Day shift schedule of 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekend rotation and call requirements, including 4-5 weekday calls per 6 weeks and one weekend call or backup call
• Must work one holiday per 13-week contract, with two holidays required during winter holiday periods (Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, NYE/New Year's)
• May be required to float within skillset

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an OR Tech required
• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA, NCCT, or Military OR Tech certification required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Strong general, orthopedic (total joints), vascular, and gyn surgical experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Support surgical procedures across general, orthopedic, vascular, and gynecological specialties
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility (based on driver's license address) are considered local
• Previous employees must have a minimum one-year gap before returning as a traveler
• All RTO requests must be submitted upfront with the application
