Kitchen Assistant
Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Assistant, where your support will be essential in maintaining a smooth and efficient kitchen operation. We are looking for a motivated and dependable individual who is eager to contribute to a busy kitchen environment by assisting with dishwashing and food preparation tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the food service industry and work alongside professional chefs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Follow safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe working environment
- Help with basic cooking tasks as directed by the chef or kitchen supervisor
- Restock supplies and ensure all necessary items are available for food preparation and service
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

Requirements:- Previous experience as a dishwasher preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
