Job Summary
Sterile Processing Tech. This position supports surgical care by preparing equipment and rooms for procedures. Responsibilities include cleaning, decontamination, disinfection, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical devices to help prevent healthcare-acquired infections.
Job Details
- Schedule: Rotating shifts; 8 hours per shift and 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; national certification such as Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST).
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include preparing equipment and rooms for surgery and processing surgical instrumentation and medical devices through cleaning, decontamination, disinfection, and sterilization.
