Premium Supervisor

Supervises and coordinate activities of stand workers in the VIP area

Oversee and/or participate in stand set-up and closing procedures (ex: counting inventory, prep, cleaning)

Ensure that all workstations remain clean and sufficiently stocked.

Orders replacement stock from runners as necessary.

Efficiently and accurately completes any required paperwork.

Ensures that all employees are adhering to alcohol policies.

Supervises staff to ensure food preparation meets guidelines set by Legends Global and the Board of Health.

Must be knowledgeable of all positions, willing and able to fill any position in the Premium department, if needed.

At closing, works with other stand personnel to properly count ending inventory, clean equipment, and organize stock for the following event.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Premium Supervisor position is responsible for supporting all food and beverage operations.

Directly supervises staff while having direct interaction with guests.

Maintain and control high volume food and beverage inventory.

Train, educate, and enforce responsible service of alcoholic beverages and evaluate compliance within corporate procedures.

Help develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality.

Ensure all cash handling procedures are documented and enforced.

Ability to interact with co-workers to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.

Must also be able to do other duties as required.

Conduct physical audit of inventory and product. Research and perform reconciliations.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends Global policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma required

At least 2 years of supervising experience in food management

Ability to complete required pre-employment food and alcohol service training if needed (TIP's, Servsafe certification)

Skills and Abilities

Excellent organizational, written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills

Knowledge and experience working with a POS system ? Guest service and communication

Fast-paced problem solving

Must be personable, proactive and self-motivated

Organized and ability to jump from task to task and prioritize as needed

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Able to adapt to change quickly

Punctual and dependable

Must be able to read and maintain information

Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations

Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English

Able to move fast and act on assigned duties

Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance

Ability to occasionally lift, carry and put away parcels weighing up to 30 pounds

Ability to sit and use computer workstations, including keyboard and visual display terminal, for extended periods of time

Working Conditions

Location: On Site - Grand Rapids Complex (Van Andel Arena, Acrisure Amphitheater, Amway Stadium) in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
