Construction Project Engineer – Field Operations Are you currently working on construction sites as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent? Do you have 2+ years' hands-on commercial or industrial construction experience and want to develop toward Project Management? R. C. Stevens Construction is seeking a skilled Construction Project Engineer – Field Operations to join our project team and help deliver high-quality construction safely, efficiently, and ethically. The role In this role, you will support project delivery, working with internal teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors across quality control, scheduling, permitting, compliance, documentation, and construction methods. Key Responsibilities Support project planning, work-package development, scheduling, and production benchmarks Review drawings and resolve design conflicts or errors Track quantities, productivity, project progress, and material deliveries Communicate daily productivity targets to field crews Assist with purchase orders, subcontractor agreements, scopes of work, and contract development Maintain project logs, correspondence, schedules, and compliance records Coordinate submittals and approvals with owners and engineers Support the project quality assurance and quality control program Lead project closeout activities Identify, document, and estimate costs for additional or unexpected work Provide engineering input for the daily job log About our company R.
