Senior Accountant The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting, overseeing general ledger operations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards within a fast-growing healthcare technology environment . This individual will contribute to the monthly close, audit readiness, and process improvement initiatives while partnering cross-functionally to support a dynamic, evolving business. Key Responsibilities Lead the month-end and year-end close processes , ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports , including detailed variance analysis Own balance sheet reconciliations , ensuring completeness, accuracy, and audit readiness Manage general ledger activity , including journal entries, accruals, and subledger integrations Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, FP&A, HR, and IT) to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies; support regulatory and audit requirements Prepare audit schedules and act as a key liaison for external auditors Drive process improvements and internal controls , including system enhancements and automation initiatives Support tax compliance and filings as needed (e.g., sales/use tax, property tax, R&D credits) Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and optimization of accounting workflows Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team environment Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of progressive accounting experience , including: Public accounting experience (Big 4 or regional firm strongly preferred) 3+ years of hands‑on general ledger accounting experience in an operating company Experience within healthcare technology, SaaS, life sciences, or similarly complex environments strongly preferred Strong technical accounting knowledge of US GAAP Proven experience with ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred) and advanced Excel proficiency Systems-oriented mindset , including experience with system implementations, upgrades, or process automation Demonstrated ability to improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controls Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights to non-finance stakeholders Experience navigating system-driven accounting environments and integrations Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines Effective communicator with experience collaborating across departments and with external auditors Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Advanced Monitored Caregiving Inc.
