Production Associate (Cylinder Filler)

Job Overview Production Associate (Cylinder Filler) – Charlestown, NH – 1st shift (6:00am–2:00pm), Monday–Friday. This role focuses on the safe handling, filling, and labeling of liquid, medical, and high‑pressure gas cylinders while complying with federal, state, and local regulations and Airgas standard operating procedures. Responsibilities Inspect and prepare cylinders before filling, ensuring they meet government, Airgas, and distributor standards. Perform safety checks, including odor tests and inspection of caps and valves. Analyze products for purity and correct mixtures. Handle high‑pressure, medical, and liquid cylinders and prepare cryogenic vessels for filling. Attach cylinders to manifold, evacuate, and fill by pressure and weight per regulations. Assist in loading and unloading cylinders on pallets, tractor‑trailers, and other equipment. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Maintain accurate records for DOT, FDA, OSHA, and Airgas standards. Complete quality control sheets and support accurate labeling of cylinders. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Mechanical aptitude. Minimum of one year of related technical experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Knowledge of gas hazards, cylinder labeling, and color‑coding. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, ratios, percentages). Familiarity with Airgas safety programs and applicable OSHA rules. Preferred: Experience with SAP or similar ERP system. Preferred: Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite or Microsoft Office applications.
