STEM Expert
\n \nPosition: STEM Expert
\n \nType: Contractor (Part-Time, approximately 15 hours/week)
\n \nCompensation: $60–$120/hour
\n \nLocation: Remote (Worldwide)
\n \nAbout the Opportunity
\nThis opportunity is for STEM and scientific-domain experts to contribute to AI training through technical problem-solving, scientific reasoning, data analysis, and Python-based workflows. Candidates need deep expertise in at least one relevant scientific or quantitative field; expertise across all STEM disciplines is not required.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Solve complex scientific, mathematical, and technical problems within your area of expertise. \n
- Review AI-generated solutions for scientific, mathematical, and factual accuracy. \n
- Identify incorrect assumptions, reasoning errors, and overlooked constraints. \n
- Use Python or other programming languages for calculations, simulations, and validation. \n
- Provide rigorous, technically accurate solutions and feedback. \n
Required Qualifications
\n- \n
- Strong expertise in at least one STEM field, such as chemistry, biology, mathematics, physics, geoscience, environmental science, or robotics. \n
- Practical proficiency in Python or another programming language. \n
- Strong scientific, mathematical, or quantitative problem-solving skills. \n
- Experience using coding agents in technical workflows. \n
Preferred Qualifications
\n- \n
- Familiarity with scientific tools such as NumPy, SciPy, pandas, SymPy, Jupyter, or relevant domain-specific libraries. \n
- Relevant expertise gained through academic research, industry, teaching, engineering, or independent technical work. \n
Compensation
\n- \n
- $60–$120/hour , with output-based payment for tasks meeting project specifications. \n
- Approximately 15 hours per week with a flexible schedule. \n
- Immediate availability preferred; first task expected within 24–48 hours after onboarding. \n
