Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule 1.0 FTE, shifts will depend on scheduling needs. The pediatric clinic operates from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday.

Job Description The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides comprehensive assessments and therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities. Services are delivered in compliance with hospital standards and professional guidelines, focusing on a wide range of diagnoses and age groups. The SLP collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.

Responsibilities Conduct assessments and evaluations to form therapy diagnoses and treatment plans. Implement, supervise, and modify therapy plans based on patient assessments. Document all patient interactions and therapy outcomes in accordance with hospital policies. Provide education and training to patients and families on self-care and therapeutic exercises. Participate in community health promotion and collaborative projects. Assist with administrative duties, maintain clinical space, and support supply management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current Alaska state licensure in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP required). Basic Life Support certification. Experience with pediatrics and outpatient settings is required.
