Responsibilities include:
- Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, fluid services, filters, tire rotations, and other preventive maintenance procedures.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair undercar systems, including suspension, steering, and brake components.
- Perform engine diagnostics and accurately troubleshoot drivability concerns using diagnostic equipment and proven repair procedures.
- Complete engine and cooling system repairs, including replacement of water pumps, radiators, thermostats, and related components.
- Perform starting/charging system repairs, including alternators, starters, batteries, and associated components.
- Replace ignition and tune-up components, including spark plugs and ignition coils.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide accurate repair recommendations.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety procedures.
- Work efficiently and independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous automotive technician experience required.
- Proficient in diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures.
- Proficiency in undercar repairs, engine repairs, and routine maintenance services.
- Ability to work on domestic and import vehicles of all makes and models.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and repair information systems.
- Commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.
