Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM | On-Call Rotation Required | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Interventional Radiology setting, supporting approximately 16 cases per day across three IR rooms
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation during IR procedures, including stroke-related interventions
• Provide pre- and post-procedure coverage in the Radiology Pre/Post Unit (RPPU) as needed
• Participate in an on-call rotation, including backup call, with required response to the facility within 30 minutes; call coverage includes weekday evenings and 24-hour weekend rotations
• Utilize unit systems including PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR for documentation and patient management
• Complete an 8-hour unit orientation during the first week, including attendance at all required hospital orientation classes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – NC state or Compact license required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Proficiency with conscious sedation and telemetry monitoring
• Working knowledge of IR procedures, including stroke interventions
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification
• Experience circulating in a procedural or OR environment
• Ventilator management experience
