About the Role

As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) , you will work closely with our experienced therapy team to provide high-quality physical therapy services to our residents. Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) responsibilities will include:
• Assisting physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and documentation
• Implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Providing patient education and training on proper body mechanics and exercises
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment
• Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Missouri
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating demands
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
