Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Requirements: Active RN license in state of practice (or compact license as applicable) BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy BLS and ACLS certification required CRN (Certified Radiology Nurse) preferred 1 years of IR experience required Experience with moderate sedation administration and vascular access management Duties: Provide nursing care and monitoring for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures (angiograms, embolizations, biopsies, drain placements, stent placements) Prepare and educate patients pre-procedure, including sedation and consent verification Administer and monitor moderate/conscious sedation and contrast media per physician orders and protocol Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic status throughout procedures, alerting the team to changes Assist physicians during procedures, including circulating and monitoring roles Manage vascular access sites, including sheath removal and hemostasis per protocol Provide post-procedure recovery care and discharge instructions Respond to emergent complications (hemorrhage, sedation-related events) with appropriate interventions Collaborate with interventional radiologists, techs, and interdisciplinary team on plan of care Accurately document assessments, interventions, medications, and patient response in the EMR BHS Workforce Job ID 37895617.
