Shift: Days (8:00-17:00) (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Description: Per Diem EEG Technician 8 Hour Day Shifts, Fridays, Possibility for 2 Shifts per Week Depending on Need Schedule: 3-6 shifts minimum per month with possibility for more | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, No on-call, Weekend flexability required.

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced EEG Technician to join our team on a per diem basis. In this role, you will perform high-quality electroencephalograms (EEGs) ensuring accurate data collection to assist in neurological diagnoses. This is a great opportunity for an EEG Tech looking for a flexible schedule.

Perform routine and specialized EEG studies following established protocols.

Ensure accurate electrode placement and proper operation of EEG equipment.

Monitor and document patient responses, artifacts, and clinical observations.

Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.

Comply with all hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Education: Completion of an accredited/formal EEG program.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years performing EEGs in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Certification: BLS certification required.
• Licensure: ABRET required.
• Technical Skills: Experience using the Natus charting system preferred.
• Flu is mandatory, medical declinations with proof accepted.
