As a Product Manager in Middleware Platforms Team, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. This is what happens when you join JPMorganChase, where ambition meets possibility.Job responsibilities:Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customersManages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmapOwns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value propositionBuilds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliabilityPartners with the Product Manager to identify new platform product opportunities through user research and discovery that reflect customer and market needsConsiders and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new platform features on the overall product experienceDevelops and maintains a healthy forward-looking backlog; publishes quarterly roadmaps and summaries to ensure alignment with strategic goals and provide clear vision for delivery. Writes requirements, epics, and user stories to support product developmentLeads end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting; escalates opportunities to improve efficiencies and coordinationWorks with engineering and architecture to drive solution design for capabilities and think platform/capability-first while developing productsWorks with cross-functional stakeholders to manage timelines and dependencies, surface blockers/risks in a timely manner, and ensure controls, risk, and compliance requirements are effectively managedAnalyzes, tracks, and evaluates product and platform metrics and uses insights to influence roadmap/backlog. Creates presentations and documentation (including feature release updates), communicates with senior leadership, and promotes product features to align with strategic goalsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills:5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain areaAdvanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analyticsProven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management5+ years of experience in product management, including platform product management experienceProven track record of maintaining and prioritizing backlogs; ability to write clear requirements, epics, and user storiesStrong knowledge of data analytics and building/prioritizing backlogs in a data-driven mannerProactive approach with the ability to work independently and across functional teamsExcellent critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skillsFlexible and adaptable to shifting priorities; able to manage multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced, results-driven environment; customer-focused with the ability to turn insights into actionProven stakeholder management skills across product, technology, agility, design, and data teams to develop robust product delivery plans and execution mechanisms within an agile frameworkPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organizationProficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analyticsExperience building and communicating quarterly roadmaps and executive-ready product updatesExperience partnering with engineering and architecture on platform/capability-first solution designExperience leading cross-functional dependency management, release management, and product operationalizationExperience defining and reporting platform/product metrics to influence prioritization and roadmap decisionsFamiliarity working within environments with strong controls, risk, and compliance requirements
