Job Location and Compensation Location: 28374 CR 317, Buena Vista, CO 81211 Base Pay: $18.66 – $27.21 per hour Position Summary The Medical Clinics Registration Specialist II is the first point of contact for patients, staff, and physicians, ensuring accurate and efficient registration while delivering outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities Greet patients, visitors, physicians, and staff promptly and professionally. Provide exemplary service using AIDET principles. Manage multiple interactions and handle emergencies with calm professionalism. Stay informed about practice schedules, services, and provider information. Maintain a minimum of 95% registration accuracy. Complete registrations swiftly (average within 5 minutes). Verify and update demographics, insurance, and primary care physician details. Confirm insurance eligibility and collect copays or deposits at the time of service. Obtain and verify patient identification, including photo ID and insurance cards. Educate patients about the patient portal and assist with account setup. Provide required documentation such as the Patient Privacy Statement and Bill of Rights. Gather consents for treatment authorization and communication preferences. Be cross‑trained and competent to check in all medical specialties. Qualifications and Experience High school degree and a minimum of three years of responsible business experience, preferably in healthcare or a public‑relations setting. Customer‑focused with strong organizational and multitasking skills. Sharp attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
