Internship Program Our internship program provides students with a deeper look into the concrete construction industry. The semester long program will provide a hands-on experience ranging from pre-construction/estimating, project management, and exposure to the day-to-day field operations with a special emphasis on field supervision, ready mix operations, and crane procedures. Learning Objectives Labor Resource Management Organization Culture Cost & Material Inventorying Project Planning, Scheduling, and Time Control Assist with Day-to-Day Lab Interpretation and Use of Construction Documents Construction Safety Construction Materials and Methods Quality Control and Inspection Construction Equipment Qualifications Must be at least 17 years of age upon internship start date. Must be a legal U.S. resident. Must be enrolled as a full-time student in high school, college or graduate school program. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Internship Duration and Hours 30-40 hours per week; one term (semester). Compensation This is a competitively paid internship position. Additional Experiences Feedback with Assigned Supervisor.
