A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Klamath Falls, OR, offering an opportunity to support K-12 students through contract work. This role involves delivering speech therapy services while providing mentorship, supervision, and ensuring compliance with required documentation. The position offers a flexible schedule, typically between 20 and 30 hours per week, with a contract running from ASAP through the end of the school year. Responsibilities Provide individualized speech-language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Support and mentor junior staff or aides as needed. Maintain accurate and compliant documentation according to school and regulatory standards. Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective communication intervention plans. Monitor caseloads and ensure adherence to individualized education program (IEP) goals and timelines. Qualifications Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Oregon. Experience working in school settings preferred. Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology assessments, interventions, and IEP processes. Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and maintain compliance with all documentation requirements. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support students, staff, and families.
