Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2110 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Wellspan Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests: If you have more than 5 days of requested time off, time will be added at the end of the contract to ensure a full 13 weeks. Please do not request more than 1 holiday off. Scheduling requests cannot be accommodated.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Cares for CHF exacerbations, respiratory illness, arrhythmias, general surgery, orthopedics, end-of-life care, COPD, and sepsis. Occasional stable open heart surgery patients transferred out of ICU to a med-surg floor, typically day 4-5 post-op. Additional patient populations include peritoneal dialysis, cardiac disease and stroke, joint replacements, observation, and fast turnaround patients. Could care for COVID patients. Tobacco- and fragrance-free facility.

Shift & Scheduling: RTO: Max 7 days. Travelers will be expected to work 2 of 3 upcoming major holidays: Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day. If the contract falls over only 2 of these holidays, traveler will be expected to work 1 of 2 holidays. Weekends as needed (likely EOW).

Floating Requirements: Will float to all MS floors, including units that take stroke patients (3South) and peritoneal dialysis patients (4East), and potentially rehab.
