Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for a direct hire opportunity in the Phoenix, AZ area. This role will oversee large multi-family renovation, capital improvement, affordable housing, and related construction projects, with occasional assignments involving smaller repair projects such as painting, carpentry, or other short-duration scopes.

The Construction Superintendent will play a key leadership role in keeping projects safe, organized, on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a field leader who enjoys managing active job sites, coordinating subcontractors, solving problems quickly, and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily field operations for multi-family renovation, capital improvement, affordable housing, and repair construction projects.
- Assist with project schedules, coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure materials and labor are aligned with project timelines.
- Monitor project quality, inspect work in progress, document deficiencies, and ensure subcontractor performance meets company standards.
- Maintain job site records, permits, daily logs, safety reports, delivery documentation, and other required project documentation.
- Support budget management by assisting with construction budgets, material ordering, scope review, and coordination with the Project Manager.
- Lead job site safety efforts, conduct weekly safety meetings, enforce PPE requirements, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $90,000 to $100,000 per year.
