Job Title Inventory Management Support B Job Code IMSB Job Location 3835 E Princess Anne Rd, Norfolk, VA 23502 Schedule 5 days / Week - 8 hours / Day Job Description Inventory Management Support in Norfolk, VA. Responsible for performing the physical and administrative tasks to receive, store, and distribute materials, parts, supplies, and equipment to support production line and custom assembly manufacturing activities. Receives incoming materials, determines routing and arrangements using pallet jacks, forklifts, etc. Works under supervision; fully proficient to perform inventory management tasks of moderate difficulty requiring efficiency and sound judgment. Coordinates inventory management concerns within and outside the department on matters involving information sharing, explanation, or interpretation to understand and reach agreement. Uses saws to cut metal in support of the machine shop. Essential Functions Demonstrate intermediate Microsoft and computer knowledge. Safely operate a forklift and other Powered Industrial Vehicles. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post‑Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. Knowledge of material handling procedures. Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety requirements. Ability to use pallet jacks, forklifts or other material handling equipment. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Preferred Additional Skills Costpoint or relevant ERP knowledge. Many of our positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
