Mechanical Engineer

Designs and supports testing of motors and motor-driven systems for aerospace and military applications. Focuses on building test setups, validating performance, and ensuring safety and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build motor test fixtures and test stands

• Perform motor and controller testing to verify performance

• Support dynamometer testing and data collection

• Apply GD&T and create manufacturing drawings

• Analyze motor performance (torque, speed, power)

• Troubleshoot and refine test setups

• Ensure safety compliance and document results

• Collaborate with Electrical Engineers and support multiple projects

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Park Ridge, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
