Pediatric RCC RN - Part-Time, $10K Sign-On Bonus

Job Title: Pediatric RCC Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Syracuse, NY Type: Clinical, Part‑time (32 hrs/week). Day/Evening shifts, including rotational holidays and other shifts as needed. Pay Range: $39.00–$50.00 per hour. Sign‑on bonus: $10,000 for experienced RNs; $5,000 for newly graduated RNs. Responsibilities Provides professional judgment and knowledge of roles as it pertains to the Crouse Hospital Professional Nursing Practice Model. Carries out duties and responsibilities per legal requirements under the Registered Nurse Scope of Practice, with emphasis on leading a culture of safe care. Responsible for all activities requiring assessment, planning, diagnosing, evaluating, judgment, problem‑solving, creating and implementing the plan of care. Provides appropriate education to patients and families to promote health, facilitate rehabilitation and maintain wellness. Evaluates effectiveness and revises as appropriate. Monitors and evaluates patient responses to treatment/plan of care during hospital stay. Utilizes and engages in evidence‑based practice to deliver quality patient care. Demonstrates characteristics and skills that promote critical thinking in clinical problem‑solving situations. Requirements Must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license. Graduate from an accredited nursing degree program is required. Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred. For RNs licensed in or after 2017, completion of a Bachelor’s of Nursing Degree will be required within 8 years of the date the license was obtained. Minimum two (2) years recent RN pediatric experience. Certification in a specialty area preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, and 401(k).
