Sprinkler TechnicianIAP World Services, an Intrepid Global Solutions company, is a recognized leader in Facilities Management and Operations in support of Defense, Intelligence, and National Security missions.Under a major Intelligence Community contract, IAP operates and maintains facilities, systems, and associated grounds across Virginia and Maryland. Services provided include comprehensive facility operations; project management for renovations, minor construction, and major equipment repairs; engineering, construction, and operations support; custodial and grounds maintenance services; environmental, safety, and occupational health support; food services; motorpool and logistics operations; and physical and technical security services.As the Sprinkler Technician, you will support mission-critical facilities within the Intelligence Community. This role is responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of water-based fire protection systems in secure, high-reliability environments. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strict adherence to codes and procedures, and a strong understanding of working in classified or controlled-access facilities.Essential Job Functions:Inspect, test, maintain, and repair water-based fire protection systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systemsPerform system impairments, restorations, and documentation in compliance with IC security and safety protocolsDiagnose system deficiencies and execute corrective actions with minimal disruption to mission operationsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and fire protection drawingsEnsure compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirementsPrepare detailed inspection reports, deficiency reports, and maintenance recordsCoordinate with facility managers, engineers, and security personnel in secure environmentsSupport system upgrades, retrofits, and acceptance testingMaintain tools, test equipment, and inventory in accordance with company and site requirementsAdhere to all safety, security, and confidentiality regulations at IC facilitiesEducation & Experience:NICET Level III or Level IV Certification in Water-Based Systems (required)Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working with water-based fire sprinkler systemsKnowledge & Skills:Strong working knowledge of NFPA 13, 20, 25, and related standardsProven ability to work independently in high-security, mission-critical environmentsAbility to read and interpret technical documents and construction drawingsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliancePrior experience working in Intelligence Community, DoD, or other secure federal facilitiesExperience with pre-action and special hazard systemsSecurity Clearance: Active Top Secret SCI W/ CI PolyIntrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC Acquisition Holdings, LLC. is a leading provider of global-scale logistics, facilities management, and advanced professional and technical services.
