They develop or implement treatment plans for problems such as stuttering, delayed language, swallowing disorders, or inappropriate pitch or harsh voice problems, based on their own assessments and recommendations of physicians, psychologists, or social workers. Education Required: Graduate of a Speech Pathology Program Preferred: Masters or Doctorate from an accredited Speech Pathology Program Experience Required: 5 years of experience Skills Good clinical expertise, communication skills, human relations skills, and organizational skills required. Self‑motivated individual who can work independently with little direct supervision. Has demonstrated interest in professional growth by attendance at continuing education workshops, and application of new principles and/or techniques. Must have good communication skills and a positive attitude. Licensure / Certification / Registration Required: License of Speech Therapy active in the state of Missouri Must obtain BLS within 90 days.
