Assistant Engineer (Tire & Rubber Materials Testing)Maxxis International USA is seeking an Assistant Engineer to join our Materials & Testing Development Team at the Maxxis Technology Center in Suwanee, Georgia. The Technology Center works closely with our global research and development teams to develop innovative tire technologies and deliver high-performance products for customers throughout North America.This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a background in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science, or a related field who is interested in applying their technical knowledge in a hands-on laboratory environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in evaluating tire compounds, testing raw materials, analyzing data, and supporting the development of next-generation tire products.This position is based at our Technology Center in Suwanee, GA. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to and work from this location daily.Responsibilities:Perform laboratory testing and evaluation of rubber compounds, polymers, chemicals, and other tire-related materialsPrepare rubber compounds, test specimens, and materials for testingOperate and maintain laboratory equipment used to evaluate material propertiesCollect, organize, validate, and analyze experimental dataPrepare clear, accurate, and well-organized technical reportsPresent findings and provide technical summaries to engineers, researchers, and management teamsSupport research and development projectsMaintain laboratory records, testing documentation, and databasesPerform routine calibration, maintenance, and upkeep of laboratory equipmentDesired Skills & Competencies:Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, communicate technical information clearlyAbility to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions from laboratory resultsStrong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data collection and reportingAbility to work independently while also contributing as part of a collaborative teamQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science, or a closely related technical field requiredPrevious laboratory experience requiredExperience with materials testing, polymers, rubber compounds, chemical analysis, or quality testing preferredAt Maxxis, you will gain exposure to real-world product development projects, work alongside experienced engineers and scientists, and contribute directly to the research and testing that drives innovation in the tire industry.If you are a motivated, detail-oriented engineering or science graduate looking to launch your career in materials testing, we encourage you to apply and become part of the Maxxis team.Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000
