Job Duties: Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the heart, lungs, esophagus, and other organs in thechest cavity. Perform surgical procedures, including valve replacement, aortic valve replacement, and heart-lung transplants. Develop a plan of care for each patient, including complete medical history, physician examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment and/or referral.
