Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and develop personalized therapy approaches that empower them to meet their functional objectives.

• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, doctors, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Inform patients and their caregivers about therapy strategies to facilitate continued progress at home.
• Document and Evaluate Progress: Monitor treatment outcomes and adapt therapy plans as necessary to ensure patients reach their goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Encouragement and support for continuing education or advanced certifications.

Certifications Needed

• Valid and active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
