Client Advisor

Los Angeles (Beverly Grove / West Hollywood) Full-time Hybrid $125,000–$150,000 per year KitchenSync is building the operating system for independent restaurants. We combine software, automation, and hands-on operational support to make the back office of a restaurant run better, from accounting and payroll to purchasing, people, and performance. We are a small, ambitious team working closely with restaurant operators. The work is practical, fast-moving, and high-accountability. We care about building things that actually work, not just things that sound good. The Role The Client Advisor is the person our clients know they can count on. You’ll build trusted relationships with restaurant operators, understand what’s happening in their businesses, and make sure KitchenSync is delivering real value—not just producing reports. This is a hands-on role. You’ll work directly with clients to understand their questions and priorities, help them make sense of their financials, surface issues and opportunities, and coordinate with our internal teams to get things done. You’ll own the follow-through and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. You’ll work across finance, operations, and technology, giving you a close view of both our clients and our business. The right person is naturally curious, highly organized, commercially minded, and comfortable getting into the details. You can talk comfortably with a restaurant owner about their business, dig into the numbers when something doesn’t look right, and bring the right people together to solve a problem. Most importantly, you take ownership. You don’t wait for a client to tell you what they need or assume someone else is handling it. You anticipate, communicate, follow through, and look for ways to make the client experience—and the business itself—better. What You’ll Do Drive client value and adoption by ensuring clients get the most out of KitchenSync’s platform, data, and services—and translating those insights into meaningful business outcomes. Serve as the trusted advisor to restaurant owners, operators, general managers, and finance stakeholders, building a deep understanding of their businesses, priorities, and challenges. Lead and develop the Client Success team by setting clear KPIs and goals, establishing a high bar for client service, and holding the team accountable for delivering results. Own the client experience and advocate for the client, taking problems from identification through resolution and ensuring the right internal teams are engaged along the way. Lead high-value client conversations to understand goals, uncover obstacles and opportunities, develop solutions, and test new approaches that improve the client experience and business outcomes. Create alignment across KitchenSync by translating client needs into clear priorities and ensuring internal teams understand what matters most and follow through on commitments. Drive retention, loyalty, and expansion by proactively identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships and increase the value clients get from KitchenSync. What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in restaurants, hospitality, vertical SaaS, fintech, accounting, payroll, or operations-heavy businesses. Exceptional written and verbal communication. Strong judgment and the confidence to make progress with incomplete information. A track record of owning complex work across multiple people and functions. Strong communication skills and the ability to lead high-level client conversations. What Success Looks Like Within your first six months: You know our clients deeply. You’re helping clients get more from KitchenSync and can point to tangible examples of problems solved, decisions improved, or value created. You own the client experience. You anticipate needs, proactively address risks and opportunities, and drive issues through to resolution—without letting things fall through the cracks. You elevate the team. You’ve established clear expectations and KPIs, built strong internal partnerships, and created better alignment around what clients need most. You drive growth. You’re helping strengthen retention and loyalty while identifying thoughtful opportunities to deepen client relationships and expand the value KitchenSync provides.
