Processing Lab Technician - Night Shift

Processing Lab Technician Pay Range : $16/hr Location : Homestead, FL Job Type : Full Time | Non-Exempt Shift : Monday-Friday, 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm What You’ll Do Assist the Lab Manager with day-to-day tasks in the Processing Laboratory Department. Prep chemicals, perform preventative maintenance, calibrate equipment, and track data using iPad and electronic batch record system. Use internal tracking systems BioTrack and METRC. Maintain a clean workspace—including cleaning glassware, wiping workstations, and mopping. Track data through paperwork and electronic batch record system. Perform in-process and post-process quality assurance testing and conduct visual inspections to ensure product meets or exceeds Curaleaf specifications and patient expectations. Ensure 100% compliance with weighing, data recording, product tracking and security procedures. Operate compliantly with OSHA regulations, Curaleaf and State SOPs, and other applicable procedures. Properly label products in compliance with state regulations. Take instructions and help on tasks delegated by laboratory management. Prepare materials for processing in accordance with daily tasks. Maintain product consistency and efficacy through quality control testing. Perform all other assigned duties required for a clean and safe production facility. Understand and comply with GMP and safety procedures to ensure the highest safety level. Sanitize all production equipment and tools, including workspace, equipment, containers, and appliances. What You’ll Bring High School diploma or GED. Excellent verbal interpersonal communication skills to interact with team members. Basic math skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Understanding of weights and measurements. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to adapt and work flexibly. Experience with safe handling and disposal of harmful chemicals and hazardous waste. Previous agriculture or manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently with given directives. Ability to travel approximately 5% of the time.
