Larkin Express is seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Account Manager to join our growing team in Signal Mountain, Tennessee. This is an excellent opportunity to build your career with a growing 3PL where you can make a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
Requirements:- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and manage day-to-day customer relationships.
- Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure freight moves smoothly and customer expectations are met.
- Provide timely updates, resolve service issues, and respond to customer needs with urgency and professionalism.
- Build strong, long-term relationships by understanding each customer's business and transportation requirements.
- Identify opportunities to expand services and grow revenue within existing accounts.
- Monitor account performance, service levels, and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with quoting, shipment planning, and other account-related needs.
- Maintain accurate customer and account information.
Qualifications
- Freight brokerage or 3PL experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in account management, customer service, logistics, transportation, or sales is a plus.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, organized, and responsive approach to customer service.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to recognize and pursue account-growth opportunities.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
